Relaunch heks.ch: With great power comes great responsibility

In this talk we will show why HEKS decided for Drupal 8, how we created a flexible website with paragraphs, how HEKS keeps ahead of the content complexity and organizes the content team.

In February 2017, the new website of HEKS will go live. HEKS, Hilfswerk der evangelischen Kirchen, decided against Typo 3 and for a Drupal 8 solution with paragraphs for flexible layouts and node tagging for automatic content structuring. The developed solution offers wide flexibility of content-structure and -organization. This approach offers to fulfill all current needs of HEKS and a lot of future needs as well. But this great power of content editing comes with great responsibility to keep the website beautiful and to say no to internal stakeholders.
