As members of the Drupal community, we want to foster an environment where newcomers feel encouraged to join and become active members. We strive to be respectful and inclusive, but we also realize that active steps need to be taken to really achieve our goal of reaching out to a wide array of people. We therefore provide a small number of free tickets for the event, which we want to use to support the participation of those for whom the barriers to entry seem too high.
